Ilocos Sur Hospitality And Related Establishment Professionals Association at the Region 1 Tourism Summit!

Our association proudly participated in the Region 1 Tourism Summit, held on September 19-20, 2024, at the J&V Hotel and Resort, organized by the Department of Tourism, Region 1. Over the two days, we engaged in insightful discussions on the issues and concerns impacting our tourism industry. Together with stakeholders, we agreed on vital recommendations to further strengthen the sector.

The event concluded with a heartwarming Stakeholders Appreciation Night and a special farewell tribute to former Regional Director Jeff Ortega and now the newly appointed Chairperson Undersecretary of the National Youth Commission, honoring his dedication and contributions to the growth of tourism in the region.
