ISHAREPA at the 2025 Region 1 Tourism Summit
The Ilocos Sur Hospitality and Related Establishment Professionals Association (ISHAREPA) proudly took part in the 2025 Region 1 Tourism Summit held on September 18–20, 2025 at Hotel Van Gogh, Candon City, Ilocos Sur.
With the theme “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation,” the summit gathered tourism stakeholders across Region 1 for plenary sessions, sectoral meetings, seminars, and destination showcase activities—all geared toward strengthening partnerships and creating sustainable pathways for tourism growth.
A key highlight was the sectoral voting of officers for:
- Accommodation Establishments
- Tourism Officers
- Tour Guides
- Travel and Tour Agencies
- Tourism-Related Establishments
We are proud to share that our President, Mr. Mark E. Tandoc, was elected as Vice President of the Region Accommodation Association Sector and as the Ilocos Sur Representative to the Region 1 Tourism Council. We also congratulate our PRO Chef Richard Gomez of Chad's Cafe, Bar and Grill for being the Tourism Related Establishment Association Ilocos Sur Representative.
This milestone reaffirms ISHAREPA’s active role in advancing sustainable, innovative, and inclusive tourism in the region.
